THIS WEEK ON ADMP: We are in Botswana. More precisely, the Satoshi centre HUB, where we are meeting the country’s first  ‘Miss Bitcoin‘, aka Alakanani ITIRELENG. 

This article was updated after winning the Global Blockchain Award in July 2018, and watching her on Live TV in the USA and at the prestigious Howard University in the United States, in September 2018 @ the Black Blockchain Summit   and #CryptoSprings in October, in Palm springs (USA) 

Alakanani, ‘A.I’ ITIRELENG,  is a ‘Technetronic‘ force of nature, and has the flow and accuracy of an AK-47, when delivering her ‘crypto-science’–> ADMPers... It is now clear that, This Lady is not for Loosing… :)) 

–> As an ‘Iron Lady’ of the Blockchain‘, she carries a huge ‘chip’ on her shoulder: She is basically spreading the original words of Satoshi’s Blockchain…and winning  ‘minds after minds’ in Botswana and … soon the known universe?  All of that, whilst ‘hustling hard’ around the globe, to raise the profile of her coding academy, and one of the first ‘Satoshi centers‘ in the world! – #SheGetsBusY! –

1. ADMPawards: Hello Miss ‘Bitcoin’: Can you introduce yourself, who are you? Where are you from ? What is your academic and professional background?

AI: My name is Alakanani Itireleng CEO and founder of Satoshi centre a blockchain fintech hub and co-working space in Gaborone, Botswana and we will be launching our office space on the 15th of January 2017.

I was born in a village called Ramokgwebana but grew up  in Botswana’s second capital city… a town called Francistown.

I hold a bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities, a post graduate Diploma in Education and  Master of Business Administration – Major in ‘international business‘.

I spent 12 years of my life teaching religious education in both junior and secondary schools in Botswana.

2. ADMPAwards: Can you tell us about the ‘World-class‘ Satoshi Center, and your motivation behind building it? 

AI: Satoshicentre is a registered organization, the brainchild of Alakanani Itireleng also known as the ‘Bitcoin Lady of Africa‘.

The center was created to empower young entrepreneurs, who are the intellectual, social, and cultural lifeblood of the #Blockchain industry!

–> We want to create awareness about the Bitcoin and the blockchain technology, whilst working with developers and programmers to bring about solutions to Africa’s problems, using the blockchain technology.

 

I  was named as one of the TOP30 WOMEN in FINTECH to watch,  around the world –> (https://www.siliconrepublic.com/companies/women-fintech-finance-technology) and i was also a global blockchain speaker: I was invited to speak in places like Amsterdam (Netherlands), Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa, and Kenya

AI: Satoshicentre seeks to provide a home to help Blockchain technology and other technology startup companies :

=> To develop, execute and make sustainable strategies for their business, in a suitable environment for such startup endeavor.

Our AIM is to be a solution-based technology centre with the aim of empowering young people in the world of technology. We intend to collaborate with other technology-based hubs and labs to support us throughout our mission, as we also consider ourselves as a ‘Startup empowering other startups‘.

Satoshi Center has a great international relationship and partnerships, footprint ALL OVER the globe! –> Having said all of that, we are still  looking up to these tech companies to provide us with mentorship and sponsorship, for the Satoshi centre.

A.I: Financial payments  platform: Satoshi will work to revolutionize mobile payments technology in Africa, by way of bringing and developing the best  fintech tools, to the people of Botswana

–> We already have a partnership with a Spanish Fintech company as the distributor of their technologies.

Develop blockchain solutions: We have projects in the pipeline for land registration, student cards, livestock system, all based on the blockchain technology

Offer a Place: Satoshi will help provide inexpensive office space for upcoming new blockchain and internet of things (IOT) technology businesses

Mentorship:. With the Bitcoin world full of #CryptoGEEKS  and #BlockchainBABES, the Satoshi center, intends to find expertise, and build networks that will lead to more entrepreneurial  success.

 

–> Those mentors are very resourceful, and strategic for us, as they will also help the candidates in refining their business ideas, and in building strong skilled teams.

Network Connections: The Satoshi center hopes to serve as a center for networking and building collaborations; Our hope is that all these upcoming entrepreneurs, do network and socialize together.

4. ADMPAwards: How do you promote your project around you? On the internet and in real life?

AI: Mostly through social networks like facebook and twitter. I do also have a few videos on youtube promoting bitcoins, and also on RT International TV.

I do also hold meetups, office consultations, including the various blockchain summits i do attend, in order to promote the Satoshi center to the masses.

5. ADMPAwards: How would you like to work with ADMP? How can ADMP help you?

AI: Last year we had the opportunity to work with ADMP as we were promoting our first ever bitcoin summit in Botswana.

i am still looking for the right opportunity, for us to collaborate! We have not yet released our project. Once released, we would like ADMP to market and promote it!

But, let’s finish it, FIRST!

 

6. ADMPAwards: Sweeeet science! Hum…We are still waiting… :)) –> One question springs to mind–> Are you self-funded? Or how do you make money through this project?

AI: For the past few years we have not made any money as we were focusing on building awareness.

This year, however,  we are working on projects that will be making money for the business.
