01/07/18 Deadline !! –
We are proud to connect with Sharon Bort, for a FLASH-INTERVIEW, and a world-class academic institution, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) in the USA; We are here for the launch of its GLOBAL sustainability fund, the MIT SOLVE, with a 1st of July deadline !!
#APPLYNOW! :
… Let’s dive deeper into that rabbit hole, then… shouldn’t we ? :
1. ADMP Awards: Hello how are you? Please introduce yourself and your event ?
SHARON BORT: Hello! My name is Sharon Bort and I am a Community Relations Officer in Sustainability with MIT Solve.
In this role, I do cultivate new partnerships with innovators and leaders around the world to find solutions to global challenges.
We are a global community of cross-sector leaders and change-makers cultivating transformational partnerships.
2. ADMP: #WoW impressive! What is the main theme, for this year’s event?
SB: Solve’s new Global Challenges— with more than $650,000 in prize funding up for grabs, are:
Anyone, anywhere can submit a solution, and each solution team must post an application draft including the required information by 5pm ET on July 1. But here’s the thing: drafting an application with just the basic information might only take 10 to 15 minutes.
Because Solve is powered by open innovation, this year we’re building in 20 days to make sure applicants benefit from community feedback and collaboration on their solutions. Between July 1 and July 20, applicants can edit and expand their posted solutions.

3. ADMP: ‘Open editing’ of your project, is a nice feature! When will you broadcast the winners of MIT Solve, and what is the next stage ?
SB: After July 1st and the period of editing and collaboration, our leadership groups consisting of experts from around the world will review all submission. A group of finalists from each challenge will be invited to pitch their solutions at our event, the Solve Challenge Finals in New York City in September.
At the conclusion of the event, winners or as we call them, Solvers, will be announced. Each Solver will be awarded $10,000 plus additional prize funding from our sponsors such as Consensys, GM, and RISE. Additionally, Solve will work with each Solver to match them with their needs whether it be marketing advice, legal help, mentorship, technology development, and whatever else they need to be successful and scale up !

4. ADMP: Startuppers can do with some support, for sure! Do you have any advices you would like to share as to how to fill the forms and submit concepts?
SB: Don’t doubt yourself! Don’t doubt your ideas! Just submit something and join our community of innovators. It’s really that easy ! :))
5. ADMP Awwards: Any other data set we’d need to know, before rushing to our online forms?
SB: This is open innovation in action! We’re all in on open innovation. We’re all in on the idea that every application will benefit from feedback from our amazing community. Remember that applicants can go back and edit their posted solutions anytime up until the final deadline on July 20.
“if applicants haven’t posted a draft solution by July 1, we can’t consider their solutions at all.” (SB)
6. ADMP: Could you please remind ADMPers, what is the prize money?
SB: Are you referring to this prize from Consensys? I believe, it would please ‘Cryptopreneurs’ as it has a strong social bias, too :
“Blockchain for Social Impact Prize: Solutions that make use of the Ethereum blockchain are eligible to be selected as one of four ConsenSys Blockchain for Social Impact Coalition (BSIC) Fellows. BSIC is a global network supporting social and environmental impact through blockchain-based innovation. Each Fellow will receive $5,000 a two-month minimum residency at a global ConsenSys location, and the opportunity to participate in a bootcamp in Santa Monica, CA. (USA)

SB: Successful residency can lead to additional funding or investment from ConsenSys Ventures or other members of our partners ‘coalition’. Applicants must include a link to a published white paper in their application by July 20, 2018. Eligible ‘Solver teams’ may be selected from any of Solve’s four current Global Challenges.”
Many Thanks, you’re far too kind! :))
