1. TRUST ?

 

Last week, we saw that whether you wanted to pay your bills, enter a contract, manage invoices, private keys…. It could be the 21st century ‘Woke-thing-to-do’ to store your private documents in a digital vault accessible from anywhere. Something along the lines of a decentralized system working like the Blockchain itself! Doesn’t that particular fact remind you of anything?

• It is oh so, ‘Millennial Finance’, isn’t it??

2. A DIGITAL BRIEFCASE ?

 

‘ How do you get all your administrative files gathered in one place?’  

 

⇒ The value of the digital safe is not limited to just remote backup. It can act as a “briefcase” for storing and sorting all your important “papers” together.

For example, in order to justify the payment of a benefit or to claim one’s rights when times come to retire, in the 20th century, it was necessary to keep your personal papers for a certain number of years and sometimes for the entire duration of your life.

…And we ‘all know’, papers have a ‘shelf life’ and start to deteriorate after a few years in those dusty basements.

 

 

3. MULTIPLE DATA STREAMS ?

Regardless of the system you will put together to store those files, you will always need to ensure Data confidentiality and security.

It is the same for a ‘Digitally transformed’ Business in need of first filtering the ‘Big Data’ coming from the many streams of its Data-Flow. organisation :

 

• From Big Data ⇒ Filtered Data ⇒ Beta-Data (Or Data obtained from the Beta version of a new concept/product) ⇒ Metadata ⇒ and … Smart-Data (Optimised Data directly available from your smartphone/ipad), to finish for the front-line employee dealing directly with customers.

The rise of Data, cryptodata and any digital content do creates new ‘exciting’ challenges:

 

• Sociological
• Political
• Geopolitical  
• Legal  
• Economic    
• Digital

 

The ‘Heritage or Legacy value’ of the information stored, is constantly increasing. Digital data do come indeed, from all sides & streams – websites, live, stored, social networks, email, blogs …

⇒ Businesses that are ‘Digital-aware’ will consider managing their ‘Data-Flow’ and create Artificial intelligence systems to manage it, as we progress through the current 1st part of the Digital Renaissance, we are experiencing, right now.

 

‘ Big Data, small data, smart data….do affect all economic players. and are, as complex as the Marvel Multiverse ‘

 

4.  DATA FLOW DESIGNER:

This phenomenon is not without consequences on the relationships between Startups, be they multinationals or Small businesses:  It is now clear that THE FIRST ACT of the digital transformation, will be the design of a Data flow within the business.

You will have a clear hierarchy of:

 

1. What is important or not, Timeline hierarchy: What should be seen first and last, who should have access rights to that content, or another …
2. Which content should be prioritised or remain in the past, or should be reused in a different form : Human interactions on Social Media, versus Computer signal?

 

⇒ If you believe Hermann Djoumessi, MA, Social Media content and Data should be directed towards the Social Media room (With its own ‘independent’ cloud computing system) and managed by a team of Social Media managers, with a team of community managers to engage with the ‘General public’.

 

 

5. DATA SCALING?  

• Collecting data
• Processing data
• Filtering Data (Ex: Eliminate duplicates)
• Sharing analysis
• Storage
• Protection, optimisation and valuation of data, must adapt.

 

New agile management structures will enable the rise of cloud computing solutions, everywhere, and that is the space that TimeBox and its many storage solutions, will occupy for the foreseeable future, whether you are a Business or an individual.
