1. #WHAT IS SOCIAL MEDIA ‘QUANTUM INFLUENCE’ ?
A quick reminder of what we call a 21st century “Social Media Quantum Influencer” : An influencer who is able to communicate 24/7/365 on multiple Social Media platforms with optimized content for each platforms, streams, feeds, channels and dimensions –>
Ex1: Your post on #Twitter should follow Twitter guidelines and rules
Ex2: Your post on #Facebook, #InstagraM, should follow Facebook guidelines and rules
Ex3: Your post on #Pinterest , should follow Pinterest guidelines and rules
Etc…
All posts should be available on multiple platforms, and optimized for streams, feeds, channels, and at least 10 platforms/Streams/Channels/Feeds, on multiple formats (Text, video, pictures, audio, gif,..) at the same moment and, this on a 24/7/365 basis!!
> It is also the idea that, you would use as many channels and platforms as possible, in order to achieve your goals, wherever your community is or could be…
WHAT IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF QUANTUM INFLUENCE ? > FULL SPECTRUM INFLUENCE !! > It is also the idea that you will organize that community, in order to make it an ‘action-led’ community!
DIGITAL BUSINESS #INFOSYSTEMS and ECOSYSTEMS ?
- It goes without saying that ‘Quantum supremacy’ as described by Google and others, would be a ‘natural objective or goal ’for a ‘Quantum Influencer’ to achieve!
- We also insisted on Entrepreners and leaders of organisation to yes consider their digital ECOSYSTEM (Set of digital interactions and connections enabling to better manage and facilitate the achievement of your economic goals – It still has a huge offline and human relations component, though !! – as explained by among others Xinyuan WANG ) building up their organisation,…

….to also build their digital INFOSYSTEM (Set of digital interactions and connections enabling and facilitating Data Management – It still has a huge offline and human relations component, though !! – as explained by among others Xinyuan WANG
- The tools to achieve that ‘Social Media Quantum Supremacy’ would go from #HOOTSUITE, to Postcron, to sophisticated CRM like SalesForce,…
- We expect a ‘Quantum social media team’ to be a Social Media Team of 10 Community managers with different skillsets or …
… ‘Super-powers’ //> Security and compliance, design, frontline’ community managers,…see previous articles for more details
+1 Social Media Managers (and its 2 deputies) to be running the operations!
- Definitely NOT an individual, behind a single PC/MAC ! >> It can also be a goal to achieve (‘The-Quantum Social-Media-Team-made-of-10-members’) and you can grow your team progressively to 10 members, too!
- >> We expect Social Media Managers, in that case, to be able to code on either HTML, CSS, C+, C++, Javascript, or to master at advanced or expert level, a ‘complex’ Content Management Systems‘ (#CMS) like #Wordpress, #Salesforce, #Hootsuite, #Postcron, etc..
#MULTIPLESTREAMS
However, on a more ‘down-to-earth’ level, our approach to ‘Quantum Influence’ also understands:
1. Cybersecurity needs
If ‘Data is money, you shall protect it !’ (18th century kenyan proverb)
2. Speech compliance needs
Especially if you operate within the ‘mainstream of social media’ (More than 10 Millions users on multiple continent)
>> Youtube, Facebook, WeChat, etc.. Whom all have the powers to ‘Strike’, ‘Shadow-ban‘ , ‘Demonetize‘ or ‘De-platform’ your profile, if you do not respect the ‘Community guidelines and rules’
SOCIAL MEDIA LIVE RE-STREAM: You can define live streaming as > Real-time video that is broadcasted through a social network or online platform, where it can be viewed by the public.
> The Social Media Re-stream will involve to PULL the original LIVE-STREAMING signal and PUSH it, into further platforms with enhanced quality.
3. The mid-stream of social media (Between 1 to 10 Million daily users) :
Whatsapp, Soundcloud, Line, ..
>> As an ‘independant social media platform’, you will reach the ‘Mainstream’ of Social Media when governments and mainstream of society ‘players’ (Universities, ‘Big banking’,’ Big Pharma’, ‘Big Entertainment‘, etc…) have to create profiles on your platform.
–> The ‘Mainstream of society’ will by definition, change and influence the community guidelines and rules of the ‘Mid-stream’ social media platform
> Sometimes that move to ‘Mainstream consciousness’ , can come by the introduction of institutional shareholders into the former social media startup’s funding !
4. Or, even considering the crypto-stream of social media (‘Specialized’ and ‘targeted feeds’, with 500 K to 1 Million users):
Ex1: #Telegram, Steemit, ..
Ex2: You create, with the support of the community, internal rules for a social media group.
Whether you have a team dealing with it or yourself, you should have a strategy in place to protect your data.
It is a DUTY to YOU, your STAFF, and ultimately, the AUTHORITIES!
> Sometimes, it feels like you could summarize social media in such terms:
“People will do anything for those who encourage their dreams, justify their failures, allay their fears, confirm their suspicions, and help them throw rocks at their enemies.” (Blair Warren)
#21st century ALGORITHMIC INFLUENCE
However, on a more ‘down-to-earth’ level, our approach to ‘Quantum Influence’ also understands:
A/ Algorithms compliance
Each platform has its own algorithm requirements. Algorithms that will get updated at least, every 3 to 6 months!
–> You must keep a close-watch on those algorithms changes !!
Basic understandings of coding and algorithm building are required to be a top social media manager and ‘Quantum Influencer’
More than that, you want leaders and staff to be trained in cyber-awareness and to possess some knowledge of cyber-consciousness, as explained in previous articles on this blog.
Ultimately, the ‘Quantum Influencer’ wants to create, build, nurture, grow a strong community that is action-led and self sufficient! (#ADMPers)
B/ BIT INFLUENCE? :
–> Is a type of electronic influence, that is strictly limited to one dimension with a strong biased, ‘for’ and ‘against’ opinion: You are mostly trying to beat an ‘opponent’, or a concept.
C/ QBIT INFLUENCE ? :
Is a type of influence that is made of Entanglement and superposition of opinion and platforms (Dimensions)
=> Ex: It is the kind of positioning where an influencer understands that ‘any publicity, any buzz, is good buzz, as long as people are talking about you’ and therefore, tolerates some level of dissent without counter-punching systematically on Social Media.
–> Qbit influence is vizualised as a probability model with opinions shifting from one position to another, depending on viewpoints, and dimensions in which your influence operate…
D/ PYRAMID OF PAIN:
Go back to our article on the ‘6C’ to consider, when starting a successful ‘Digital Inception’
A tight, agile and regularly trained team will be able to progressively increase what is known in cybersecurity as, the’Pyramid of pain‘
When at the top of that pyramid of pain, your team is better equipped to handle cyber-attacks! /> We will give you an example below or next week!;
E/ QWANT INFLUENCE:
The Social media manager is more than the Influencer/Entrepreneur‘s right-hand in charge of social media messaging, but also the “leader’s or entrepreneur’s right-hand in charge of social media”
>> Ultimately we see the relationship between 21st century leaders/ Influencers and their social media managers as the key to successful leadership:
If your vision is clear, therefore it is easier to follow your message! (18th century, South-African proverb)
>> Ultimately, all roads lead to the level of cyber-awareness or cyber-consciousness, of the 21st century company’s or organisation’s leaders.
We are definitely waiting for leaders – at all levels, from politics, science, show-bizz, military, etc..- with
basic cyber-consciousness and cyber-awareness, always aware of what is happening in ‘real life’, too!
MAYBE THE ANDROID/’MILLENNIAL’ GENERATIONS AND THEIR ‘DIGITAL-NATIVE’ TAG, WILL BE THE ANSWER ??
If we delve into a startup, then we want a community management team and Influencer that is aware of:
2. #CYBERSECURITY AND COMPLIANCE NEEDS
WHY DOES IT MATTER ?
Because your online actions will impact your needs for cyber-security strategies. It is unavoidable! Find out below the type of tasks and profiles required to do a decent job!
The security and compliance team of the Quantum influencer will have to complete the following tasks…
… GENERAL TASKS OVERVIEW:
- You need to understand and comply to online copyright and copyleft regulations,
- You need to understand and comply to Data protection and ‘Pop Up’ (Emergency) regulations like #POPIA13 in South-Africa, #GDPR in Europe, etc..
- Last but not least, the need to convey a positive #E+Reputation !>> Keep monitoring your E-Reputation, via a dedicated team or unit!
- Task number three, is to monitor and analyze antisocial media behaviours:
–> Scrap monitoring, Trollings, viruses, malwares, doxing, virtual harrasment, cyberbullying, scam claims..
Which should also lead to build OFFENSIVE STRATEGIES, like so-called ‘Bug Bounty’ programs and not just defensive ones:
> Prepare counter-‘Fake news’ strategies, and anticipate potential Data breaches,with responses playbooks, for examples.
> Whether you have a team dealing with it or yourself, you should have a strategy in place, to protect your staff and users data.
The security and compliance team of the influencer will be recruited from different types of profiles …

1; Let’s look at CYBERSEC specifically: Monitoring company’s social media E-Reputation and social media cyber-threats:
–> Monitoring and reporting on :
Negative and ‘Positive’ social media spikes,
- Reporting on potential disruptions (Virus, defacing, doxing,…)
2. UNDERSTANDING THE VARIOUS THREATS LEVELS :
- A/ Spray and pray’ threats or attacks
- >> Ex: Random attacks or threats to a system, with no real pre-established ‘target’
B/ Targeted attacks or threats
>> Ex: An attack via email, or messenger bot to an individual or a group
C/ Advanced persistent threats or attacks
>> Ex: An attack by a sophisticated operation, over a sustained period of time, involving fake websites, or high level of ‘social engineering’
3. UNDERSTANDING ANTI-SOCIAL MEDIA BEHAVIOURS
- Monitor and analyze antisocial media behaviours:
–> Scrap monitoring, Trollings, viruses, malwares, doxing, virtual harrasment, cyberbullying, scam claims..
4. UNDESRTANDING SOCIAL MEDIA TRAFFIC and SENTIMENT ANALYSIS
The goal of the Social media team is to monitor, sometimes record and analyze all ‘Communities traffic’ within the social media room, and turn it into data
– We are not ‘Guru‘, but ‘Data scientists and analysts’ –>
Into data, that could be visualized on a dashboard.
> Lookout for irregular patterns, content and behaviors !
Remember the latest greatest HACK of the century ! Ex: ‘#NotPetya‘
5. UNDERSTANDING SOCIAL MEDIA CRISIS RESPONSE TEAM:
Social media is a ‘risky business’ and the ‘Quantum influencer’s’ ability to cope efficiently with crisis, is extremely important! We wrote about it as early as, 2015 !!
< /CRISIS > will happen on Social Media, whether you like it or not, so…BE PREPARED !!
< /SCENARIOS > will have to be regularly brainstormed or lifted from ‘Real-life’ case study to support the ‘Crisis unit team’ and prepare for:
* ‘Counter-Punch‘ scenarios, to kill the eventual ‘bad story’, etc…
‘* Dealing with ‘Wrongful scam claim’,
* Dealing with toxic debaters
* Dealing with ‘Hoaxes’, ‘Fake’ and real ‘Memes’
* Dealing with people’s “Right to oblivion”
etc..
Which should again, also lead to build OFFENSIVE STRATEGIES and not just defensive ones:
Prepare counter-‘Fake news’ strategies, and prepare also for failed and successful potential Data breaches.
