I: I for Information

– Ex: A Facebook profile displaying via a smartphone, the weather information, simply by filming outside its window – Also consider another I, which is for Information technology, as social media uses computers, machines and devices, the internets in order to spread its message

I: I for Intelligence (A.I.)

– Ex:  Most cryptocurrencies and social media platforms, have an operating algorithm and ‘Artificial Intelligence‘ setup, to curate what the user or fan will see at the top of their feeds. 

As a reminder, there are four types of ‘Artificial Intelligence’  

-Ex: Reactive machines

• Limited memory
• Theory of mind
• Self-awareness

 

C: C for Communication/Community 

– Ex: Social Media fulfills several communication tasks, like Public relations for a B2B or B2C communications, ‘Citizen-journalism’, where citizens on a P2P basis, (‘Peer-to-Peer) decide to ‘record history‘ and share it with their friends, a community or their profiles.

>> ‘Anyone’ can simply decide to be a media, serving a close or wider community.  

 

C: C for Connections

– Ex: Social media relies on several connections technologies and procedures enabling the fast spread of content inside a Community, a social media manager will have to build and nurture

> You could be using a chatbot on Messenger  to increase “Mass” P2P leverage and connections, with your community in a Growth Hacking strategy. As they seem to enjoy it, in P2P Lending, in India, for example! 

 

 

#PROOF-OF-COMMUNITY ? 

M: M for Media. – Ex: Social Media can of course be used as a media or even a tool for propaganda, entertainment or education 

M: for Marketing: – Ex: Most of the social media concepts, have been articulated by digital marketeers, who were the first to exploit its powers commercially.

Add to that, the fact that they are very good at ‘self-promotion’ and you understand why the ‘first social media gurus’ were often former marketeers. 

‘Citizen-journalists’, ‘Mainstream  and Alternative medias’, ‘Governments’, ‘crypto-communities’, ‘Businesses’, all the ‘stakeholders’….

will soon redefine how we view and perceive social media networks. 

Most of the times, those heartfelt statements by those ‘Gurus’ and marketeers, do ring true and  do achieve some sort of ‘change’. 

>> Articulating ‘Hope’ is often the best way to set electronic influencers in motion...

However, the same could be said about ‘articulating Fears’: >> Fears of scammers, fear of (some) government, fear for privacy …

   The ‘Baby Bitcoin’ is a fork of its ‘Big Brother‘, Bitcoin! The “Original Altcoin‘ is still having its own ups and downs, similar to those of #Bitcoin, by the way! 

#Litecoin was designed as a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency and open-source software project released under the MIT/X11 license.

Creation and transfer of coins is based on an open source cryptographic protocol and is not managed by any central authority. 

• Litecoin was trading at $43.580 by 05:36 (00:06 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Monday 16/12/19, down 10.55% on the day.

It was the largest one-day percentage loss since Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

 

The market cap of Litecoin has lost a staggering $4.5 billion since June’s high of $145.

It now stands at $3 billion, which is $1 billion less than both Bitcoin Cash and #Bitfinex’s controversial stablecoin, #Tether

Monero is a digital currency that offers a high level of anonymity for users and their transactions.

Like Bitcoin, Monero is a decentralized peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, but unlike Bitcoin, Monero is characterized as a private digital cash. 

Inside the the Monero-sphere (The ‘Monero cyber-community’), #MONERO developers are notoriously camera-shy and tend to avoid #Youtubers like the plague !!

Although the #Monero Facebook page has 29 000 Followers ! 

Here’s the Social Media SPIKE around #MonerO, going forward into 2020: 

 –> Poland-based #BitBay is the 90th largest cryptocurrency exchange by 24-hour trade volume, according to data from Coin360.

In late 2019, the exchange had a daily trade volume of just over $20.7 million and is among the largest, when it comes to #MonerO. 

 

#PROOF-OF-KRYPTONITE ? :

Proof-of-E-Reputation-Kryptonite:

The highest level of KRYPTONITE is reached when  a “Crypto-Scam-claim” or  “Zero-Day Vulnerability“, that is ‘discovered’ and ‘Highlighted’ on Social Media that seems to gain velocity, engagements, reaction, across  online chat rooms, sub-reddits, and online crypto-groups.

Those ‘vicious’ operation can sometimes undermine the technology or the team, behind it

>> It can bring the price of your cryptocurrency down to zero !

 

Cryptocurrency exchange #BitBay will delist privacy-centric cryptocurrency Monero (XMR) due to money laundering concerns.

And this is a trend that could fast extend to other exchanges in the near future… 

 

In many words, #Monero is facing a E-Reputation crisis!

–> Nothing that a good ‘crisis’ or ‘Social media Counter-Punch’ strategy couldn’t handle, of course!

In term of crypto-social media any positive comment or ‘Social Media punch’, would potentially push the currency’s value up and contribute to a “PUMP” move on the currency price.

 

 

In this setup and conditions… A Social Media ‘Counter-punch‘ would contribute rather to a “DUMP” movement and bring the currency value DOWN.

#RIPPLE: 

One of the Afrotech Diaspora‘s favorite transfer payment brand, #MONEYGRAM, is getting deeper and deeper inside the ‘Crypto-Space’ ! 

And it has used Ripple for its settlement and transfer system >>

 

This past week, cryptocurrency giant Ripple, increased its equity stake in MoneyGram international  (NASDAQ:MGI).

Ripple initially invested $30 million in the money transfer company in June.

 

Ripple’s On-Demand Liquidity (ODL) solution leverages its controversial XRP digital token to “send money globally, instantly, and reliably for fractions of a penny.”

 

On Nov. 25, Ripple announced that it was investing another $20 million, bringing its stake in MoneyGram to 9.95% !!
