This ‘Iron Lady’ is of Chinese background, and works in France for a project on the Blockchain with a rich and non-conventional career path: It started in mainland China, behind the ‘Golden shield’, and carries on to the western end of the OBOR pathway (China’s ‘One belt, one road’ initiative), in Paris, the last romantic city.
This is no ‘Trial by Social Media’, but a ‘Knowledge-drop’. It is the second ROUND, of this 2-part interview… Grab your coffee, take a sip and hold-on to your ipad, or smartphone: SOoo…let’s get ready to rumble, Miss Ranting Wang, ROUND 2 !!!

1.#ADMP AWARDS: Can you tell us about your work and what is your expertise in this company? Take us through the ‘Everyday Ranting Wang’ and lead us down the ‘rabbit-hole’ (#SavePangolinS) of how she handles what is still a male-dominated Ecosystem?
RW: Yes, my role in the team is diversified, my main job is managing marketing and communication work on behalf of my team to improve the whole digital inception of NeoPlace. By leveraging marketing and social networks knowledge, I build multi-language marketing campaigns and create a positive buzz through social media channels.
The objective is to keep our smart community active and engaged, I design and conduct surveys to analyze and recognize its needs and collect its feedback on NeoPlace. I also do benchmarking studies of competitors and build marketing strategies, etc.
#ADMP: ‘As a reminder, the Inceptio Digitalis or ‘Digital inception’ in Business, is a set of Digital processes enabling the fast-spread of a message or a concept, in order to transform reality and measure it via analytics’ (ADMPer Hermann Djoumessi, MA)
2.#ADMP AWARDS: This all sounds a lot ‘Officy, Adminy’ and ‘Data-management-heavy’!? Do you sometimes, get to see the light of day? :))
RW: Yeah! Besides doing all of that Data management, I also take part in NeoPlace’s roadshows (in Europe, US, now Asia), to increase the presence of NeoPlace in the blockchain world, and I also help maintain a good relationship between our Chinese stakeholders and our team.
I have to admit, from its appearance, the blockchain world is a fairly masculine one, but deep inside it is rather “genderless”, one’s gender matters less compared to the ability to get the job done effectively.
3.#ADMP: Which is the real challenge! There are not many ‘qualified talents’ with Blockchain-ability available at the moment! There’s rather a shortage of it ! How do you cope?
RW: Working in this kind of field is no doubt full of challenges, because in this world’s new, fast-changing and disruptive industry, you are surrounded by intelligent, skilled, hard-working and highly motivated people.
You need to make lots of efforts in order to make things happen. But in the meanwhile, it also means that a small progress can give you huge sense of achievement in this line of work.
4. #ADMP AWARDS: #BaBySteps. Another thing that comes to mind, is how ever-changing, and therefore ‘exciting’ an environment, it must be, right??
RW: #NeverBored! → At my work, the work is different every day: in addition to updating our social media channels on a daily or weekly basis, I have often extra works coming up unexpectedly but I do enjoy this feeling of conquering uncharted territories.
5.#ADMP AWARDS: #MambaMindset! – In your opinion, how can we motivate more women to take an interest in the financial industry?
There are more and more women at work within the finance industry, from my point of view. The finance industry is one of the well-developed industry nowadays, for women it’s a great domain to work in, because finance industry is now in high demand of women.
In the past, there was a gap between diplomas and professional opportunities: in general, women tended to be more used to work as a team member and be in highly detailed tasks.
With the right educational background and the entrepreneurship spirit, women can surely carry the torch forward in finance industry and take leadership responsibilities.
6.#ADMP AWARDS: Sure! Even if not enough women get to the top of the tree, above the ‘glass ceilling’…. Moving, on swiftly, can we ‘really’ talk about a ‘Blockchain Ecosystem’ in France, or just the ‘seed of an emerging community’ ?
RW: In France, the Blockchain ecosystem is emerging, France is never a stranger to technical revolution, but the risk-appetite and the level of investments is lagging behind, compared to other western countries.
The French public investment house CDC already launched some initiatives to encourage people to work collectively in decentralized technologies and try to integrate blockchain technology into various part of social aspects and developments. The CDC has been actively defining clear measures and regulations.
#ADMP: Easy cyborg, I have to translate this, for the ‘deplorables’, out there :))
⇒ #DLT: Stands for Distributed Ledger Technology – A distributed ledger is a consensus of shared, synchronized and replicated digital dataset, often geographically spread across multiple sites, countries, or institutions.
There is no central administrator, cloud or centralized data storage.
7.#ADMP AWARDS: if you want to regulate technology, you need to push and fund ‘Regtech’ startups, as you cannot regulate complex technologies with paper-based regulatory approach! But that’s another debate!
8.#ADMP AWARDS: Do you have any partners you would like to ‘link up’ with? if yes…what type of partners?
RW : Lol, #Cyborg! …Where was i…??
9.#ADMP: Here with us, ADMP! Ranting, what are NeoPlace’s prospects for partnership?
RW: Oooh yes..Here we go! ⇒ NeoPlace is in need of strategic partners which can advance with us on enhancing strategic cooperation, augmenting our ecosystem and creating value in their respective areas of expertise. All the corporations and projects which shares the same values with us are welcomed to have a talk with us for further cooperation

RW : I’m not going to say something overly optimistic or ‘rosy’….

RW: Easy Lady …:)) – This is all from my experience, as a new domain: the blockchain world means everything is possible, working in this industry,
you have the chance to meet the top actors of the industry: entrepreneurs, developers, marketers, big names in the field are very approachable.
Talking to these people gives you the motivation to be one of them, and most importantly, the chance to do so. This is something you can hardly obtain
from established or traditional and mature industries.

RW: #Hashtag, let me finish! ===> The emerging blockchain industry domain is a new chance for women, it can provide an acceleration of career, a dense work experience.

It’s a fascinating chance to train your mind and grow yourself.
You have the freedom to work creatively, to make the decision that can influence the company, and to change this world with your own power if you truly believe in it.
